We believe that the Anchor Mast is the best long-use Type 3 barricade on the market. Offered in a wide variety of configurations to fit your work site, this multi-purpose type 3 plastic road barricade will serve you for years to come. Made in the USA and manufactured entirely from all-weather HDPE plastic, this barricade is extremely durable and will not look tired after a few seasons of use.
The Anchor Mast barricade is made up of 3 parts for fast assembly, the Anchor Base, Mast Uprights, and the Wave® centerboards with your reflectivity sheeting of choice. The barricade features built-in mounting holes and slots for warning lights or flags, just one less attachment or accessory to think about.
The Anchor Mast is best suited to those long-term deployments where the barricade may need to be secured for longer periods. The Anchor Base can be filled with sand adding up to 60lbs of ballast without sandbags. To learn more, keep scrolling or use the Quick Jump menu.
Anchor Base - The toolless legs (or feet) of the barricade, these hold a lot of weight with sand even before supplementing with additional sandbags.
Mast Upright - The patented strong mast holds everything together by connecting the Anchor Base (feet/legs of the barrier), centerboards, and accessories in place.
Centerboards - Three boards with your choice of length and stripe direction with 3M retro-reflectivity grade sheeting.
Hardware - Complete fixings for assembly which is only needed for the centerboards.

The WAVE® centerboard is the superior choice and is available in 4, 6, and 8-foot lengths. Featuring a unique indented wave pattern on the back of the centerboard to help strengthen and increase rigidity. The board is a one-piece design and has closed ends to prevent dirt and moisture from penetrating.
If you need longer board lengths of 10 or 12 feet, we offer a centerboard that is manufactured using the extrusion method where the boards are made in one continual piece and then cut to size. Because of this, the boards will not have closed ends.
Meets ASTM D4956 Type 1 and is an enclosed film or lens using glass beads or prismatic optical technology.
Meets ASTM requirement standards for D4956-09 Type III and Type IV, as well as ASTM 4956-07 Type X. It is a non-metalized micro prismatic lens reflective sheeting. HIP sheeting is highly reflective, and its durable topcoat protects signs and other traffic control devices against scratches and abrasion. Not only is it highly reflective at night, but it also commands attention during the day as well.
Meets ASTM Type XI standard. A full cube prismatic reflective sheeting that returns almost 60% of the available light to vehicle drivers which is about double what HIP reflective sheeting reflects. With pending legislation in the US, this material will likely be required to replace many existing signs. Currently, all new “critical” traffic control signs (such as Stop signs, speed limit signs, etc.) are required to utilize this sheeting.
3M Retro-reflective sheeting can be applied on one side or both sides of the centerboards. Refer to the AnchorMast configuration table to see which options are available.
Where barricades extend across a roadway, the stripes should slope downward in the direction toward which road users must turn.
When providing both right and left turns, the barricade stripes should slope downward in both directions from the center of the barricade or barricades. Where no turns are intended, the stripes should be positioned to slope downward toward the center of the barricade or barricades.
